Set password for individual posts on latest blogger

Normally, your posts on Blogger are publicly visible, but there are some cases where you want to restrict that.

For example, if you have a sensitive article, you may want to limit your audience to only a few people. Although Blogger does not offer a traditional password protection option, you can set a password for certain posts.

How to do it

Once you’ve published a work article, go back to the article editor page on the HTML side, not the writer side, and put the following javascript right at the top of the article.

var password = ‘ 123456789 ‘
password=prompt(‘Please enter password to view this page:’,”);
if (password != ‘ 123456789 ‘) {
location.href=’ Post page URL to set password ‘;
}

In which

– Change 12345678 to your password
– Replace the URL of your article in
